Presbyterian Day School – Dobbs Edge Studio

The Dobbs Edge Studio is a new multipurpose classroom intended to encourage collaboration, experimentation, discovery and creativity. The space was designed as a multipurpose learning environment with moveable fixtures for flexibility and writable walls for brainstorming and collaborative learning. The entire studio was dedicated to art and design and is meant to inspire design thinking which is a problem solving and critical thinking approach to learning.

PDS believes that a school’s physical space should never shape or limit teaching and learning. Because of this, it was important that the new space be designed to be multipurpose, flexible, and future-proof in order to accommodate the needs of PDS boys for many years to come…
